Bio

                                                                                                                                                                                                                Kathe Kokolias was born in Troy, New York and lived in Florida and California, where she worked as an RN for over twenty years. She has a BA in Liberal Studies and a Masters Degree in Management, both from JFK University in Orinda, CA. In 1997 she embarked on the greatest adventure of her life when she moved to Mexico with her husband, Brian. She opened a gift shop in a friend’s beachfront hotel in Zihuatanejo and traveled around Mexico buying arts and crafts to sell in the shop. She and Brian now live in Colonie, NY and Ixtapa, Mexico, where she continues writing, taking photographs and has recently started to paint. She is a member of the Hudson Valley Writers Guild , The Art Center of the Capital Region, and the Colonie Art League. She has two children and six grandchildren.
